Each year, Conifer Fest offers you a wide selection of music genres for everyone to enjoy.
We are grateful to the bands that took the stage this year to fundraise for Conifer Rotary Club's programs.
We hope to see you again at Conifer Fest 2023 for a Saturday of fun and fundraising!
Taking the stage once more at Conifer Fest is Conifer's own. Who's Thomas - The Band, as they were once briefly called, is comprised of Charlie Cence (bass), Sam Cence (guitar), Sammi Meyer (piano, vocals), Cameron Paul (guitar, vocals), and Josh Wright (drums). Who's Thomas credits their musical start to their mentor, teacher, and local rock star, Joe Bye.
Playing 60s to Today. All Genres of Rock.
May Be Fern combines the musical talents and intelligence of its four members to create a sound you won't forget. Featuring Kate Fern on bass guitar and vocals, Hannah May on keys and vocals, Madi Spillman on lead guitar, and Carleen Jeffers on drums.
Born in Brentwood, NY (Long Island), Bye has been a staple of the Colorado music scene for decades. He has received regular airplay on KBCO, KTCL, and KGNU, and was a featured artist performing several times live on KBCO Studio C Local Edition and the KGNU Kabaret. Bye has performed at venues and events both locally and nationally including CBGB’s Gallery, Cafe Sine and Cafe A-Go Go (New York City), Daytona Beach Bike Week, The Little Bear, (Evergreen, CO), and Herman’s Hideaway (Denver, CO).
From 1997 thru 2007 Joe Bye owned and operated the Buck Snort Saloon, in Pine, CO, and as the featured performer there, his shows are now legendary.
Once named “the hardest working man in local show business” by G. Brown of the Denver Post, Bye received recognition as the opening act for such notables as Steppenwolf, The Guess Who, Little River Band, Kris Kristofferson, Warren Zevon, Steve Forbett, and Jim Messina among others.
Playing classic rock from the 60s to the 20s! Let's Rock! With influences from New Orleans, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Austin, Denver, and all points in between. Mike MacDonald on Vocals, Chuck (The Glue) Lipp on Bass & Vocals, Craig DeWolf on Drums, Pat Searcy on Guitar & Vocals, and Bryan Duncan on Guitar & Vocals.
Dakota Blonde is one of the most unique acoustic sounds around! Their combination of original tunes and carefully selected covers, along with their endearing stage presence and humor is out of this world!
Their musical sound is hard to classify, but best put, they are acoustic folk, part bluegrass, part acoustic rock, part singer/songwriter, and sometimes even Celtic! They are a unique blend of heart, authenticity, and contagious spirit! Their acoustic sound is like no other, with such tightly blended harmonies that you would swear they were born to sing together!
You just have to experience a Dakota Blonde show to know what you've been missing!
A fun, quirky band based in Denver, Captain Quirk offers a mix of upbeat Rock and Motown, -- R&B, Soul & Blues, and a few oddities that made people say, “I haven’t heard that in forever. That’s awesome!”
Funds raised support Rotary programs serving our communities, including local grants, high school senior scholarships, RYLA/Young RYLA scholarships, and the 285 Backpack Project.
